Kathi Tran is a dedicated insurance professional, community volunteer, and passionate advocate for youth leadership. As an auto underwriter, she brings strong attention to detail and thoughtful analysis to her work, helping evaluate risk and support customers with care and professionalism.
Kathi’s commitment to service began during her time as a member of Key Club International, where she helped charter and start a Key Club at Independence High School. That early experience sparked a lifelong passion for service and youth development.
Since joining Kiwanis International in 2004, Kathi has remained deeply involved in mentoring and advising Key Clubs, supporting student leaders as they grow through service and leadership opportunities. She has also been an enthusiastic volunteer with the Kiwanis Key Leader program since 2008, helping inspire and empower high school students through leadership development, service learning, and mentorship.
In her free time, Kathi enjoys following her favorite sports teams. She is an enthusiastic supporter of the Oakland Athletics and the entertaining exhibition team Savannah Bananas in baseball, as well as hockey teams San Jose Sharks and San Jose Barracuda. Whether volunteering, working, or cheering on her teams, Kathi brings energy, dedication, and a strong spirit of community to everything she does.
